Amir Khan has reportedly switched his attention to a potential fight against Manny Pacquiao later this year.
The British boxer has been open about a desire to face Floyd Mayweather Jr, but it is believed that the 28-year-old is ready to scrap those plans in favour of a showdown with Pacquiao.
According to the Daily Mail, the Filipino's promoter Bob Arum has proposed a fight in Abu Dhabi for this November or December.
"I want this fight," Khan told the publication. "I would love to box Manny. We've been looking at an event in Dubai and Abu Dhabi is only a short drive away. It's a dream of mine to fight in that part of the world."
Pacquiao is preparing for arguably the biggest fight of the century when he takes on Mayweather in Las Vegas on May 2.
