Amir Khan says that he wants his next to fight to be in England at the end of this year.

Amir Khan has announced that he expects to return to the ring in December and wants a homecoming fight in England.

Khan suffered a shocking knockout defeat to Danny Garcia on July 14 in Las Vegas and will now look to rebuild his confidence with a fight closer to home.

The 25-year-old told Sky Sports News: "I'm looking at fighting around December, hopefully the fight will be back in England because it's been such a long time since I fought here.

"I need to work on my mistakes and I know that, we now have to go back to the drawing board. I will talk to my team straight after the Olympics and we will fix things."

Khan has not fought in this country since a controversial victory over Paul McCloskey at the MEN Arena in April 2011.
