George Groves has insisted that he will return to the ring stronger and better than ever after losing his world championship rematch to Carl Froch on Saturday night.
The Saint, who confidently predicted a knockout in the much-hyped build-up to the bout, was caught with a heavy right hand in the eighth round at Wembley Stadium and was quickly waved out of the fight by the referee.
However, Groves was quick to pay tribute to his opponent whilst vowing to make a winning return soon.
He told Sky Box Office: "I am fine. It is boxing. Fair play to Carl, he caught me. I thought I was doing very well in the fight but it is boxing. I have to hold my hands up and I'll come back bigger and better and stronger.
"I feel like I let myself down but congrats to Carl, fair play. He got the punch and I congratulate him."
Groves has now lost twice in 21 professional career bouts, although he did beat the IBF's number one challenger, James DeGale, back in 2011.
