George Groves believes that his victory over Glen Johnson last Saturday has now put him into the 'world class' bracket of boxers.
The 24-year-old retained his Commonwealth super-middleweight title with the unanimous points win and thinks that the performance has propelled his stature into the highest echelon of the sport.
"I believe that I am now a world class fighter," BoxingScene quotes Groves as saying.
"Johnson has boxed at the highest level for a long time and at light heavyweight as well. The performance will tell the rest of the division that I am here, that I am a contender, not just someone to keep an eye on but to fear."
The win was fight number 16 of Groves's professional career.
