Gennady Golovkin ready for "biggest test" against Kell Brook in September

Gennady Golovkin insists that his title fight against Kell Brook will be his "biggest test" yet.

Unbeaten Gennady Golovkin has insisted that he is ready for his "biggest test" yet against Kell Brook.

The pair will go toe to toe in the ring at The O2 in London on September 12, with Golovkin's WBA Super, IBF and WBC world middleweight belts up for grabs.

Thirty-two of the Kazakhstani's 35 wins have been by knockout, while Brook also has an unbeaten record, with 25 knockouts from 36 fights.

"I'm not scared, this is business," Sky Sports News quotes him as saying. "I understand my situation and my position. It is business and I respect sport. I respect boxing. I am ready. I am very excited. I am very happy to be here in London. Right now, I can give the UK fans an amazing event.

"I believe this is the biggest fight for us because I see Kell [and] I respect him. I respect his team, he has a very good and very strong team. I understand this is not easy, this is true. It is very serious business for us. I am ready 100% for September 10.

"I believe I will bring an amazing show, like a drama show. This is the biggest test for me because Kell is a true champion. It's the biggest test for me, absolutely."

Brook has gone up two weight divisions to make the fight.
