Frankie Gavin will challenge British and Commonwealth welterweight champion Sam Eggington at the Barclaycard Arena on October 17.
In May, Gavin suffered a sixth-round stoppage defeat to IBF title holder Kell Brook, a setback that left the former amateur world champion ready to drop down to the light-welterweight division.
However, the 29-year-old will face Birmingham rival Eggington in an attempt to become a two-time British and Commonwealth champion after a late deal was agreed between the two fighters.
Also on the bill, Kal Yafai will look to win the British super-flyweight strap against Jason Cunningham, while Matthew Macklin will make his first appearance at 154lbs in nine years against Jason Welborn.
