Carl Froch says that he will have to give everything in his fight against Andre Ward this Saturday in order to overcome the American's home advantage.

Carl Froch believes that his American Super Six Final opponent Andre Ward will have a slight advantage with the referees due to the fight being held in his home nation.

Froch's comments come following British boxer Amir Khan's controversial defeat to American Lamont Peterson on foreign soil last weekend.

"You're always worried about the scoring when you're away from home," said Froch. "To be certain of getting justice over here you have to put up a dominating performance.

"You can never be sure. I clearly beat Glen Johnson in Atlantic City but one of the judges scored it a draw. I won comfortably against Andre Dirrell but one judge had him winning. I still believe I would have got the decision against Mikkel Kessler if that great battle had been anywhere other than Denmark.

"So I'll just have to hit him with everything. And if that doesn't work maybe I'll have to kick him where it hurts."

Froch could lose his super-middlewight title if the undefeated Ward overcomes the British boxer on Saturday.
