Carl Frampton "ready" for Steve Molitor test

Carl Frampton vows to end Steve Molitor's time at the top of the super bantamweight division.

Carl Frampton has said that he is "more than ready" for Saturday night's showdown against former IBF super bantamweight titlist Steve Molitor.

The 25-year-old will go toe to toe with the Canadian at Belfast's Odyssey Arena having won all 14 of his professional bouts so far - nine by way of knockout.

Molitor has enjoyed two spells as the IBF champion between 2006 and 2011, but the Northern Irishman believes that now is his time to reign supreme.

"This is my time, he's where I want to be," said the Commonwealth and IBF Inter-Continental super bantamweight champion.

"He's had his time and now it's my chance. I'm more than ready."

Frampton defeated Raul Hirales on points in May to pick up the vacant IBF Inter-Continental strap.
