British super-middleweight James DeGale has said that he feels "like a beast" ahead of his IBF title showdown with Lucien Bute.
DeGale is making the first defence of the belt he won against Andre Dirrell in May, and the former Olympic gold medallist has warned his opponent that he will not be able to handle his power when they meet in Quebec.
The 29-year-old is quoted by BBC Sport as saying: "They think it's going to be a boxing match, but it will be a destruction.
"I feel like a beast. I'm going to start fast and throw loads of punches. Once he feels my power that will be it. Place your bets, trust me."
DeGale has won 21 of his 22 outings in the paid ranks, while Bute has suffered just two defeats in 34 matches, against Carl Froch and Jean Pascal.
