Anthony Crolla: "I'll leave no doubt" in Darleys Perez rematch

Lightweight boxer Anthony Crolla insists that there will be "no doubt" over his victory in the rematch with Darleys Perez, after the first fight ended in a draw.

Lightweight boxer Anthony Crolla has suggested that there will be "no doubt" over his victory in the rematch with Darleys Perez in November.

The 28-year-old fought Perez in July to become WBA lightweight champion, but the Colombian defended his title in controversial circumstances after the fight ended in a draw, and Crolla believes that he will emerge victorious next time around.

Speaking to BBC Sport, Crolla said: "The dream is still alive. In fact, the decision last time has just added fuel to the fire. I'm expecting a better Darleys Perez and there's certainly going to be a better Anthony Crolla this time.

"It's changed on the street from being known as the boxer who got hit on the head with a concrete slab to the boxer who got robbed in a world title fight."

"I prefer that. But I've moved on and I'll leave no doubt this time around."

Manchester-born Crolla has won 29 of his 36 professional fights.
