Derek Chisora has beaten David Haye to a world championship bout against Vitali Klitschko next year.

The Londoner will face the WBC heavyweight champion in Munich on February 18.

He was twice previously supposed to fight Vitali's younger brother Wladimir but the Ukranian pulled out both times through injury.

Haye has said that he would come out of retirement to fight the older of the two Klitschko brothers after he lost his world title to Wladimir in the summer, but Chisora has been granted the fight.

"Wladimir Klitschko did not fight me but now I'm going to get the championship belt by beating his older brother," 27-year-old Chisora said.

"I'm going to show Vitali Klitschko that his time has expired and send him into retirement.

"When his younger brother then wants a fight against me I'll be ready to bring all the championship belts to London."

Despite the fact that Chisora has lost two of his last three fights, Vitali is wary of the Englishman and was impressed by his most recent narrow defeat to Helenius.

"Chisora showed in his last fight, which he lost unfairly, that when his opponents are much bigger he can fight well on the inside," said Vitali.

"I will take warning from his excellent performance against Helenius and train intensely and meticulously as always. I won't let all his talking affect me, however."

Haye's next move is now uncertain as he was hoping for a battle against his conquerer's brother.
