WBC title-holder Carl Froch believes that he has the upper hand over opponent Andrew Ward ahead of their Super Six super-middleweight final on October 29.
The 34-year-old, who has 28 wins under his belt, will go into the fight with American Ward in Atlantic City as the underdog, according to the bookmakers.
Despite the odds being stacked against him, Froch is confident that he can beat the WBA champion.
"I have not been impressed with Andre and his level of opposition," Froch told reporters. "He's fought good fighters but not at the level where we are now."
"He has no power whatsoever, Sure, his hand speed is fast but even he'll tell you he's not as fast as Andre Dirrell and I handled Dirrell quite easily."
"The final is what top sport is all about - we have the two best fighters facing off for it all.”
The Englishman beat Jermain Taylor, Arthur Abraham, Andre Dirrell and Glen Johnson to reach the Super Six final.
