Joe Calzaghe not considering a return to the ring

Joe Calzaghe says that he is not considering a return to boxing.

Joe Calzaghe has said that he would not consider coming out of retirement following the news that Ricky Hatton is preparing to step back into the ring.

Hatton is widely expected to announce a return to the ring and Welshman, Calzaghe, admitted on Sky Sports' Ringside that it is not something that has entered his own thinking.

"Perhaps if I was a light welterweight with Floyd Mayweather [in the division] then maybe, but I've achieved everything I want to," said Calzaghe.

"Andre Ward has been calling me out, three years after I retired man! Maybe he needs the publicity, I don't know."

Calzaghe retired in 2009 undefeated, with a record of 46-0.
