Kell Brook: 'Amir Khan will not listen to me'

IBF world welterweight champion Kell Brook is tired of talking about a potential fight with Amir Khan as it looks increasingly unlikely to happen anytime soon.

Kell Brook has stated that he is bored of talking about a potential fight with Amir Khan as the former is holding out for a bout with Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Sheffield-born Brook retained his IBF world welterweight title last night with victory over challenger Frankie Gavin.

Despite having Khan in his sights, the clash is unlikely to happen anytime soon, with Khan hoping to fight Mayweather, the world's number one pound-for-pound boxer.

Brook told Sky Sports News: "There's many more things to come from me. My adrenaline wasn't running - I wasn't excited by this. I want bigger fights.

"Amir Khan doesn't want to listen to me. Why? It's getting boring."

Last night's victory was the second time that Brook had successfully defended his world title.
