Kell Brook believes that his dream of becoming a world champion is now just two bouts away after being matched against Carson Jones.
The Sheffield fighter will go toe to toe with his American counterpart in an eliminator for the IBF welterweight title in his hometown on July 7.
The winner is expected to face either Mike Jones or Randall Bailey, who meet at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on June 6.
Brook said that he has been dreaming of becoming a world champion since he was nine years old.
"It's a big fight," said the 26-year-old. "Carson Jones is ranked higher than me and the winner basically goes on to fight for the world title.
"I'm two fights away from being a world champion now. I've dreamed about this since I was nine years old and so this will be one of the biggest fights of my life."
Brook is so far undefeated in 27 fights.
