Tony Bellew became involved in an angry verbal altercation with long-time rival Nathan Cleverly ahead of a possible rematch between the pair.
The Liverpudlian stopped Julio Cesar Dos Santos inside five rounds before immediately goading the Welshman, reserving stern words for the fellow cruiserweight.
He told Cleverly: "I'm now an established pro, I'm not a plastic world champion. I just want to hurt you."
Cleverly then replied: "I've come to his hometown and already beaten him. This time it will be emphatic, I will damage him. I will spank him again."
Earlier in the evening, Cleverly won his second bout at cruiserweight, comfortably beating Alejandro Valori.
