Chad Milnes 'unconcerned' by no-headguard rule

New Zealand boxer Chad Milnes is not worried by the lack of headguards at this summer's Commonwealth Games.

New Zealand boxer Chad Milnes has claimed that he 'has not felt any major differences' when fighting without a headguard.

Headguards will not be used at the Commonwealth Games this summer for the first time in history, but the 22-year-old is unconcerned by the rule change.

"I haven't felt any major differences, but headbutts are a big thing without the headgear. In terms of how the punches feel, I don't feel much difference," he told reporters.

Milnes will find out his first opponent on Thursday.
