Ireland's Katie Taylor has prevailed over Team GB's Natasha Jonas in a thrilling lightweight encounter.
It was a blistering start to the fight, with both women teeing off with two and three-punch combinations. Taylor produced the better quality and took a 5-2 lead.
The fight was being fought at an intense pace and both fighters unloading on each other in furious bursts of action. An even second round meant that Taylor lead 10-7.
The third round proved to be pivotal, as Taylor started to build her lead. Jonas just showed signs of titing and Taylor took full advantage, foricng a standing count on her opponent.
Jonas fought valiantly in the fourth but could do nothing to stop the reletless Irishwoman storming to a 26-16 victory.
