Irish gold medal-winning boxer Katie Taylor is set to hold talks over a future in the professional game, according to her coach and father Peter Taylor.
Taylor won gold in the Olympic lightweight division last week and her father has said that should she turn professional it will be about the challenges rather than money.
"Obviously we'd love to carry on boxing amateur," Peter Taylor told independent.ie. "We love amateur boxing.
"Professional boxing will have new challenges as well so there's a lot of things to consider now. It's not about money. It's about challenges at the moment.
"We have talks tomorrow [and] we'll see where that leads to. There's nothing concrete yet."
