Great Britain boxer Nicola Adams eases past Hungary's Katalin Ancsin in the round of 16 of the women's fly (48-51kg) at the European Games in Baku with a 3-0 victory.

Great Britain boxer Nicola Adams progressed past Hungary's Katalin Ancsin in the round of 16 of the women's fly at the European Games in Baku this morning.

Adams appeared in impressive form as she took a 3-0 points victory over her opponent, with the British athlete looking confident having notched marks of 10 across all four of her rounds in Baku.

Victory for Adams has now established a quarter-final clash with Bulgaria's Stoyka Petrova at the Crystal Hall next Monday.

Great Britain currently hold eighth place in the tournament's medals table with four gold, one silver and three bronze accolades.
