Nicola Adams books all-British flyweight final

Olympic champion Nicola Adams books an all-British Commonwealth Games final against Michaela Walsh with victory over Mandy Bujold in the flyweight division semi-finals.

Nicola Adams has booked an all-British flyweight final against Michaela Walsh at the Commonwealth Games.

The Olympic champion convincingly dispatched of experienced Canadian Mandy Bujold in their last-four bout, and will now fight Walsh for gold at 2pm tomorrow.

Adams, who became England's first female boxing champion at London 2012, was forced to chase a defensive Bujold around the ring but still landed enough shots to unanimously take the first two rounds.

Bujold could not react quickly enough to block the Adams combinations, and a couple of snappy jabs from the Englishwoman in round three left her opponent stumbling and virtually wrapped up a points win.

Walsh earlier beat India's Pinki Rani on a split decision to guarantee at least a silver medal in Glasgow.
