Teymur Mammadov of Azerbaijan has squeaked through his heavyweight encounter against Australia's Jai Tapu Opetaia by a single point.
The first two rounds were very even, which was reflected in the 5-5, 4-4 scorelines.
Opetaia took the lead in the final round as the result hung in the balance, leading with the left from his southpaw stance.
However, the judges felt that the Azeri had edged the tight final round and awarded him the 12-11 verdict.
