Washington Wizards' John Wall doesn't need surgery on hand

Washington Wizards point-guard John Wall is confident that he does not need surgery on his injured left hand.

Washington Wizards point-guard John Wall has insisted that he does not require surgery on his injured hand.

The two-time All-Star was forced to sit out three recent playoff games with multiple fractures in his left hand.

Despite admitting it was "very sore" when returned to action in game five of the Eastern Conference semi-final against the Atlanta Hawks, Wall is confident that surgery isn't need to repair the damage.

According to The AP, Wall will shortly be going to Cleveland to see a specialist about the right course of action.

Washington led the series 2-1 against top-seed Atlanta, but lost three games in a row to bow out 4-2.
