Report: Manu Ginobili signs two-year extension

Manu Ginobili signs a two-year extension with the San Antonio Spurs, according to reports.

San Antonio Spurs veteran Manu Ginobili has reportedly signed a two-year extension to return to the franchise.

The Argentine has a player option on the second year, according to RealGM.

It is reported that Ginobili has taken the room exception, which gives the Spurs more cap space to work with to re-sign other players.

LaMarcus Aldridge has confirmed that he will play for the organisation next season, and will sign a max deal.

In addition, Tim Duncan is also understood to be set to sign an extension, with Ginobili's reduction giving the team more flexibility.
