The San Antonio Spurs are close to keeping forward Kawhi Leonard on a new deal, according to reports.
Leonard, who was named as the 2014 NBA Finals MVP, averaged 16.5 points per game last season as the Spurs went on to finish sixth in the Western Conference.
The AP claims that the Spurs have agreed a new five-year deal with Leonard, which will see him earn £57.6m over the course of the contract.
The 24-year-old was the 15th overall pick in the 2011 NBA Draft.
