Tim Duncan has claimed that San Antonio Spurs teammate Tony Parker will be ready to play against the Los Angeles Clippers on Friday night.
Parker has been officially listed as questionable for game three of the Western Conference playoff meeting due to tightness in his Achilles tendon, but Duncan believes that the point guard will shake off the injury to join the Spurs on court.
"I hope he's able to play and play well for us," Duncan told ESPN. "He's a big part of what we do. So him not at 100% hurts us, but we'll see.
"He's a gamer. He's going to go, and he's going to get treatment for the next 48 hours. When that ball goes up, I guarantee he'll be out there because that's the kind of player he is."
The first-round series is currently level at 1-1 following San Antonio's win in overtime in game two.
