Victor Oladipo apologises for Cleveland comment

Orlando Magic rookie Victor Oladipo has apologised to any Cleveland Cavaliers fans who may have been offended by his recent comments.

Orlando Magic rookie Victor Oladipo has apologised to Cleveland Cavaliers fans after being quoted as saying that he "really didn't want to go to Cleveland".

The overall number two pick in the NBA Draft 2013 took to Twitter on Friday in order to address any Cavs fans he may have offended with comments at a season ticket holder event on Thursday.

"Sorry to all the Cavs fans if I offended them in any way making the comment I made, I didn't mean it the way you all took it," he wrote.

Magic broadcaster David Steele also moved to clarify the comment, stating that Oladipo was merely making the point that he really wanted to be drafted by Orlando.
