New Orleans Pelicans point guard Jrue Holiday has been ruled out indefinitely with a right ankle injury.
The team has revealed that he has sustained a stress fracture in his tibia, although it isn't clear how he picked up the injury, ESPN reports.
Holiday is averaging 14.3 points, 7.9 assists and 4.2 rebounds so far this season, and featured in Wednesday night's loss at home to the Washington Wizards.
His absence is another blow for the Pelicans after Ryan Anderson was ruled out with a herniated disk last weekend.
