Flip Saunders doesn't regret Kevin Garnett trade

Minnesota Timberwolves coach Flip Saunders insists that he doesn't regret the decision to bring back Kevin Garnett.

Minnesota Timberwolves coach Flip Saunders has insisted that he has no regrets over the decision to trade for veteran Kevin Garnett.

Garnett played just 98 minutes this season over five games due to knee issues after re-joining the franchise ahead of the trade deadline back in February.

"His mentoring, that's why we brought him in here," Saunders said, ESPN reports.

"We didn't bring him here to sell tickets. If I had to do the deal over again, I'd do it in a second."

With promising rookies such as Andrew Wiggins, Zach LaVine and Shabazz Muhammad and other young talents, Saunders reiterated that he will look to use Garnett's experience to help them develop.
