Erik Spoelstra: 'LeBron James carried poor Miami Heat'

Miami Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra says that LeBron James saved the team in their game against the Orlando Magic.

Erik Spoelstra has said that LeBron James's performance was the only highlight of the Miami Heat's 101-99 win over the Orlando Magic.

The forward added the winning points for the current NBA champions with 15 seconds to spare, moving them to a 10-3 record this season.

The head coach told reporters: "It helps to have LeBron James. LeBron in space, and he'll take care of the rest, but the execution before that was extremely poor, very poor.

"He just did what great players do. He was very relaxed, calm, got to a spot where he felt comfortable and shot a great in-rhythm jump shot that made all of us look better."

James has averaged 25.3 points per game so far this season.
