Los Angeles Lakers point guard D'Angelo Russell has revealed that he believes the organisation have a squad capable of making the playoffs.
The rookie struggled during the summer league, and also caused controversy by suggesting that the Lakers fans have been spoilt.
However, he is confident that his actions on the court will do the talking when the season gets underway next month.
"Expectations are high, but this Lakers squad will most definitely be a playoff team," he said, according to Basketball Insiders.
General manager Mitch Kupchak has previously shared the same sentiment by insisting the team that has been put together can make the post-season.
