Kevin Love avoids injury in fall

Minnesota Timberwolves power forward Kevin Love says that he was keen to keep playing despite taking a heavy fall during the win over the Los Angeles Lakers.

Kevin Love has said that he wanted to carry on playing despite landing heavily on his hip during the Minnesota Timberwolves' win over the Los Angeles Lakers.

The power forward, who scored 31 points during the game, was alright after the game, which ended in a 109-99 win for the hosts.

The 25-year-old told reporters: "I just want to continue to keep playing and give this team all that I can. Yeah, I've taken a physical beating, but you've got to expect being one of the top guys that they're going to come at you."

The Wolves face the Oklahoma City Thunder later today.
