NBA roundup: Los Angeles Clippers extend winning streak

Sports Mole rounds up all the action from Monday night's five-game schedule in the NBA.

The Los Angeles Clippers moved up to fourth spot in the Western Conference by edging out the Denver Nuggets for their fifth win in a row on Monday night.

In a topsy-turvy game at Staples Center, the Clippers came through 102-98 largely thanks to Jamal Crawford scoring 21 of his game-high 23 points in the fourth quarter.

The Memphis Grizzlies eased to a home win over the Orlando Magic thanks to a big performance from Zach Randolph.

The power forward led the hosts in points (24), rebounds (10) and assists (6) as they inflicted a sixth straight loss on the Magic.

Anthony Davis led the New Orleans Pelicans to their fourth consecutive victory - a season-high winning streak - as they cruised past the struggling Philadelphia 76ers.

Davis had 32 points and 10 rebounds to help playoff-chasing New Orleans to a comfortable 25-point win at Smoothie King Center.

The Oklahoma City Thunder returned to winning ways with a 92-84 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves, despite reigning MVP Kevin Durant sitting out with an injury.

Rookie of the Year candidate Andrew Wiggins led all scorers with 23 for the Wolves, but the visitors still suffered their sixth straight defeat.

At EnergySolutions Arena, the Boston Celtics secured their seventh away win of the season with a 99-90 victory over the Utah Jazz.

Recent acquisition Tayshaun Prince had 19 points and five assists off the bench to help the Celtics end Utah's two-game winning streak.

Two games scheduled for last night were postponed because of the snowstorm in New York.

The New York Knicks' game against the Sacramento Kings has been rescheduled for Tuesday March, 3, while the Brooklyn Nets will now take on the Portland Trail Blazers on Monday, April 6.

Results in full: Orlando Magic 94-103 Memphis Grizzlies, Philadelphia 76ers 74-99 New Orleans Pelicans, Minnesota Timberwolves 84-92 Oklahoma City Thunder, Boston Celtics 99-90 Utah Jazz, Denver Nuggets 98-102 Los Angeles Clippers
