Report: Houston Rockets out of race for Kevin Love

The Houston Rockets reportedly believe that they will be "outgunned" if they attempt to trade for Minnesota Timberwolves power forward Kevin Love.

The Houston Rockets have reportedly decided that they do not have the assets to complete a trade for Kevin Love.

The Minnesota Timberwolves power forward has been linked with a move away from the team this off-season, with the Rockets among those thought to be interested in acquiring him.

USA Today reports that the team believe that they can be "outgunned" by other sides for the 25-year-old, despite being willing to trade Omer Asik and Jeremy Lin.

Love averaged 26.1 points per game during the 2013-14 season with Minnesota.
