NBA roundup: Golden State Warriors, Cleveland Cavaliers clinch wins

Sports Mole rounds up all the action from Tuesday's games in the NBA.

Stephen Curry returned from an absence with a foot injury to lead the Golden State Warriors to a win over the Washington Wizards, who have now lost four in a row.

After missing Sunday's defeat to the Indiana Pacers, Curry managed a 34-minute stint, and scored 32 to help the Western Conference leaders come back from an early deficit.

Marreese Speights made sure that the visitors did not let their lead slip late on, coming off the bench to add 16, sealing a fifth win in six outings for the Warriors.

The Cleveland Cavaliers had to come from behind in the second half to secure a win over the Detroit Pistons at the Palace of Auburn Hills.

Reggie Jackson helped the home side open up a five-point lead by the break, but LeBron James and Kevin Love led the turnaround in the third quarter.

James's 11 assists during the game now make him the NBA's top all-time forward for assists, passing Scottie Pippen.

The Oklahoma City Thunder continued their strong recent run, making it nine wins from 10 games in February with a win over the Indiana Pacers.

Russell Westbrook hit his stride early on, helping the Thunder quickly open up a 10-point advantage in the first quarter, while Serge Ibaka ensured that the points kept coming in the second half.

The win was the third in a row for Oklahoma City, despite the team missing reigning league MVP Kevin Durant following foot surgery.

The Dallas Mavericks dominated the fourth quarter to secure a narrow win over the Toronto Raptors in a closely-fought game at the American Airlines Center.

DeMar DeRozan and Greivis Vasquez ensured that the Raptors were in front going into the fourth, but the visitors were unable to open up a commanding lead.

As a result, Monta Ellis was able to turn it around in the final 12 minutes as the Mavericks outscored their opponents 25-15 to seal a third straight win.

Results in full: Golden State Warriors 114-107 Washington Wizards, Cleveland Cavaliers 102-93 Detroit Pistons, Indiana Pacers 92-105 Oklahoma City Thunder, Toronto Raptors 92-99 Dallas Mavericks
