NBA roundup: Golden State Warriors recover from defeats by beating Brooklyn Nets

Sports Mole rounds up all of the action from Thursday's games in the NBA.

The Golden State Warriors have returned to winning ways with a 107-99 victory over the Brooklyn Nets at the Oracle Arena.

Heading into the game on the back of two defeats, the Warriors were guided to a morale-boosting win thanks largely to 25 points from Klay Thompson.

Draymond Green and Steph Curry both added 17 points as Golden Sate condemned the Nets to defeat for the fourth time this season.

The Chicago Bulls improved their record to 7-2 by beating the Toronto Raptors 100-93, but there was another injury scare for Derrick Rose.

Pau Gasol scored 27 points and claimed 11 rebounds for the Bulls, while Rose added 20 points before being forced to finish the game on the bench after injuring his hamstring.

The Dallas Mavericks set a new franchise record on the way to recording an emphatic 123-70 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers, who extended their losing run to eight games.

Dirk Nowitzki needed just 20 minutes to score 21 points as the Mavericks cruised to their biggest ever win.

Rookie of the Year Michael Carter-Williams returned from injury to post 19 points, eight rebounds and five assists, but his contribution was not enough to help the Sixers avoid another defeat.

The Sacramento Kings wasted a 26-point lead as the Memphis Grizzlies picked up an eighth win of the season with an 111-110 triumph on a dramatic night at the FedExForum.

Mike Conley led the Grizzlies fightback with 22 points and 11 assists, before Courtney Lee secured the win for the hosts with a layup in the final second of the game.
