The Golden State Warriors made it five wins in a row in the NBA as they sealed a comfortable victory over the Utah Jazz at the Oracle Arena.

The Western Conference leaders were held to 19 points in the first quarter against the solid Jazz defense, but Stephen Curry ensured that the points were flowing before half time on his way to a 24-point game.

The Portland Trail Blazers slipped to a season-worst fourth straight defeat as they were beaten by the Memphis Grizzlies.

Jeff Green and Mike Conley combined for 44 points to set up Memphis's win, with the home side pulling ahead by eight points by the end of the first quarter.

The Detroit Pistons overcame a 19-point deficit in the third quarter to claim a win over the Chicago Bulls at the Palace of Auburn Hills.

Pau Gasol seemed to be leading the Bulls to a comfortable win, but Reggie Jackson added 17 points in the third quarter to get Detroit back into contention, before Spencer Dinwiddie took over in the fourth to put the Pistons in front.

The Phoenix Suns made a strong start to the second half to set up a win over the Houston Rockets, leaving them just outside of the playoff places in the Western Conference.

After a closely-fought first half, Eric Bledsoe led the charge in the third quarter, finishing the game with a career-high 34 points to keep the Suns in playoff contention.

The Brooklyn Nets made it four wins in their last five games as they cruised to a win over the Indiana Pacers.

Brook Lopez caused problems throughout as he added a run of early points before keeping them coming in the fourth to see out the win, finishing with 26.
