Steve Kerr: 'Golden State Warriors will learn from defeat'

Golden State Warriors coach Steve Kerr believes that his side will learn from their defeat to the Memphis Grizzlies in game three of their NBA playoff series.

Steve Kerr has said that his Golden State Warriors side will learn from "the pain of losing" after being beaten 99-89 in game three of their playoff series against the Memphis Grizzlies.

The Pacific Division champions, who finished the regular season with the best record in the NBA, trail 2-1 in their Western Conference semi-final ahead of the fourth meeting of the series on Monday.

Kerr told ESPN: "They're learning. It's part of the process. You see teams go through this all the time in the playoffs. It's the only way to figure it out, to go through the pain of losing a game like tonight."

The Grizzlies have beaten the Western Conference's top seeds twice in the last four years.
