Stephen Curry has said that he felt "locked in and focused" throughout the Golden State Warriors' win in their first game of the NBA playoffs.
The Western Conference's top seed took a 1-0 lead in their first-round series with the New Orleans Pelicans with a 106-99 victory at the Oracle Arena.
The guard, who led the scoring with 34 points, told ESPN: "I was locked in and focused the whole night. In those situations, you want to get the crowd back into it.
"There's a weird kind of tension, especially in the second half when they made a couple runs. But in the playoffs, you have to expect anything. And whenever you're on the floor, just try to make an impact."
The teams play again on Monday.
