Cleveland Cavaliers forward Shawn Marion has confirmed that he will be retiring from playing in the NBA following the conclusion of the 2014-15 season.

The 37-year-old, who initially announced his intention to retire in January, was unused from the bench during the team's NBA Finals defeat to the Golden State Warriors.

When asked by ESPN if he was still planning to retire, the four-time All-Star replied: "Hell yeah."

Marion began his career with the Phoenix Suns in 1999, and won his only title in 2011 with the Dallas Mavericks.
