Cleveland Cavaliers point-guard Matthew Dellavedova was taken to hospital with severe cramp after game three of the NBA Finals last night.
The Australian has risen to prominence in the series after number one point guard Kyrie Irving broke his kneecap in the closing stages of game one.
Dellavedova scored 20 points in 38 minutes to help the Cavs to a 96-91 victory and 2-1 series lead on Tuesday, but it came at a price.
The team said that he was cramping in "multiple areas" and was taken to hospital for treatment.
Iman Shumpert also suffered bruising to his shoulder, and the Cavs are expected to provide an update on the duo's condition at practice later today ahead of game four, which takes place in Cleveland on Thursday night.
