Last-gasp Derrick Rose shot gives Chicago Bulls win

Derrick Rose adds a game-winning three pointer at the buzzer to give the Chicago Bulls a 99-96 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Derrick Rose scored a three-pointer in the final second to give the Chicago Bulls a 99-96 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers in game three of their playoff series.

The home side found themselves behind early on, with efforts from James Jones and Matthew Dellavedova giving Cleveland a six-point advantage by the end of the first quarter.

Nikola Mirotic and Mike Dunleavy dominated the scoring for the Bulls before half time to get them back in the game, before Rose edged the hosts in front for the first time early in the third quarter.

The sides remained close throughout the second half, with JR Smith adding a 25-foot effort inside the final 10 seconds to tie the score at 96-96.

Dunleavy found Rose at the buzzer though, leaving the point guard to launch the ball from long range to lift the team to victory and give him a 30-point game.

The result puts Chicago 2-1 up in the Eastern Conference semi-final, with the teams meeting again at the United Center on Sunday.
