Mike Dunleavy: "Derrick Rose is fully committed"

Chicago Bulls forward Mike Dunleavy insists that his teammate Derrick Rose is "fully committed" to the team this season.

Chicago Bulls star Mike Dunleavy has insisted that point guard Derrick Rose is "fully committed" to the team this season despite his recent comments.

Rose told the media earlier this week that he was thinking long-term and about his life after basketball when sitting out this season, but Dunleavy is confident that the 26-year-old is desperate to win this year.

"Look, I think that's a fair concern for everybody," Dunleavy told reporters.

"It's a big topic now in sports, especially in football with concussions and things like that. It goes the same with basketball. You know different types of injuries and things like that. There's certainly more to life than it."

Rose played in just 10 games in the previous two seasons due to back-to-back knee injuries, while he has sat out multiple games this season already with sprained ankles.
