Brook Lopez breaks bone in foot

Brook Lopez could miss the rest of the season following the confirmation that he broke a bone in his foot in Friday's loss to the Philadelphia 76ers.

The Brooklyn Nets have been dealt a blow with the news that Brook Lopez could be out for the rest of the season after breaking a bone in his foot.

Lopez, who fractured the same foot in 2011, suffered the injury in Brooklyn's loss to the Philadelphia 76ers on Friday night.

The Nets have yet to confirm whether Lopez will be ruled out for the rest of the campaign and have only revealed that there will be an update next week.

The 25-year-old has averaged 20.7 points per game this season.
