Usain Bolt's coach says that the Jamaican sprinter will not change, despite his disqualification from the 100m final at the world championships.

Usain Bolt's coach has said that the Jamaican sprinter will not change after his disqualification in the 100m final at the world championships in Daegu, South Korea.

Bolt was removed from the race after a false start, and some critics have said his dismissive gestures towards his fellow competitors before the race were disrespectful.

"That is the heart and soul of the man and he will not change," said Glen Mills. "He will do the same. It is not something that is a cosmetic thing.

"That's his thing, it works for him. There is no perfect system. I don't think the false start had anything to do with his pre-race celebration. You could go into a race stone-faced and still false start," he added.

Bolt begins the defence of his 200m world crown on Friday with the start of the heats.
