Angelo Taylor has described his Olympic 400m hurdles heat earlier today as "easy".
The defending champion from Beijing eased into the semi-finals in London with a time of 49.31s.
Reflecting on the race, the American admitted that he was pleased with how he performed.
"It was a pretty good run," he told BBC Sport. "I wanted to go out and take command of the race. I have my own way of getting through the rounds and it was an easy day for me."
Taylor also won gold in the 2000 Games in Sydney.
