Great Britain's Sophie Hahn has expressed her delight after winning gold in the women's T38 final at the Paralympics Games in Rio de Janeiro this evening.
The 19-year-old, whose main rival Margarita Goncharova was absent due to Russia's blanket ban from the Games, equalled her own Paralympic record of 19.62s to take gold at the Olympic Stadium.
Having previously been crowned world and European champion, Hahn - inspired by London 2012 gold medallist Jonnie Peacock - has already completed the set of major titles for ParalympicsGB, and she told Sports Mole that it was "amazing" to achieve that feat while still in her teens.
"I am absolutely delighted. I never imagined coming here and winning a Paralympic gold so I'm very happy," she said.
"It was amazing to complete the set, absolutely amazing. I'm very grateful. I'm just here to focus on myself, win a medal and do my country proud and it's about coming here to do well?
"It's crazy. To imagine, if Jonnie Peacock wins gold I'm sure it will be absolutely amazing to be on that list of gold medallists."
Hahn could pick up a second gold in the 4x100m relay final on Thursday.
