Olympic silver medallist Christine Ohuruogu believes that athletes should take inspiration from this summer's Paralympians.
The 400m runner, who clinched silver at this summer's Games in London, believes that the "passion" for sport doesn't change regardless of any disabilities.
"They were saying I inspired them, but I thought it really should be the other way round," Sky Sports News quotes Ohuruogu as saying.
"They've always had to fight against society telling them what they can and can't do with their lives. They've had to fight a lot to get to where they've got to and I think for me it was just about telling them that they've already fought the hardest battle.
"It makes you realise that passion for sport doesn't change. It doesn't matter whether you have two legs, one leg or none, your passion and motivation doesn't change. I think that's something nice to recognise in all people."
The British athlete is expected to watch her compatriots compete at the Olympic Stadium today as the track and field events get underway.
