Great Britain's Hannah Cockroft claims that she was more nervous ahead of today's 200m heat than the 100m final.

Great Britain's wheelchair sprinter Hannah Cockroft has admitted that she was "nervous" before today's 200m heat at the Olympic Stadium.

The 20-year-old gold medallist eased into tonight's final with a Paralympic record time of 33.20s.

"[The] 200m is my favourite event," Cockroft told Channel 4. "I was actually more nervous for this one than for the final."

Cockroft's compatriot Melissa Nicholls also qualified for the final after finishing fourth in her heat.
