Great Britain's Jack Green has made it through to the semi-finals of the men's 400m hurdles in his first ever Olympic Games.
The Brit finished in the second automatic qualifying spot with a time of 49.49s after starting off slowly but managed to push to the front after the first bend.
Felix Sanchez for the Dominican Republic clocked the best time when he crossed the finish line above his competitors in 49.24s.
Mamadou Hanne for Senegal claimed the final automatic qualifying spot with a time of 49.63s.
